HOW OUR APPLICATION PROCESS WORKS
- Once pregnancy has been confirmed we will send out a questionnaire to ask who on the interest list would like to be moved to the waitlist for this litter. The waitlist is for those that are looking for a puppy from the current litter.
- Once puppies have been born, we will go down the list and and discuss puppy picks. This does not start until about 3-4 weeks old so full color is determined and personalities begin to develop.
- At 8 weeks, puppies will be available for pick-up and remaining balance must be paid in full. Puppies will not leave without full payment being received and contracts signed by all parties.If you need to update your application at any time, please see the link at the bottom of this page. DO NOT complete a new application.
- If you do not respond to multiple attempts to contact you, you will be removed from our list
- If we offer you a puppy in your desired color/sex and you turn down more than more litter, you will be removed from our waitlist.
APPLICATION POLICY
- Please be aware that we do screen all applicants very carefully as it is extremely important to us that our puppies are a good fit for your home and your home is a good fit for our puppies. With that being said, we also do not discriminate against anyone. We know some rescues and shelters have turned people away for various reasons. We want good people with good homes that are able to take care of our puppies.
- Please understand that we have no control over the number of puppies, the color of the puppies, or the sex of the puppies in each litter
- At this time we are not requesting a deposit with your application, however this may change in the future. We want to make sure we are including individuals/families that are serious about providing homes for our puppies.

IRISH CREEK GREAT DANE CONTRACT
Contract must be signed by all parties any puppy going home. Health guarantee, spay & neuter, and return contract included.
HOLDING DEPOSIT AND PRICING
Current Price of all puppies is $2500*
We have a non-refundable holding deposit of $500.00 for our puppies. We do not take deposits before we have confirmed pregnancies. Holding deposit will be deducted from the full purchase price. Remainder of balance due at pickup. Please speak with us as we want to make all policies as transparent as possible. We want you to feel safe and secure with your transaction and will work with you to make sure you understand everything clearly.

All puppies come with th following:
- Limited AKC registration (see below)
- Up-to-date on shots and deworming with health certificate
- 30 days of free pet insurance
- Contract including two year genetic health guarantee
- Microchip with prepaid lifetime enrollment

- Puppy manual with tons of training and important information for raising your new family member
- Puppy Pack which includes: medical records, copy of signed contract, copy of invoice, blanket with mom's scent, puppy food that the puppy is currently on, miscellaneous other puppy items (i.e. toys, bowls, treats, etc.).
- Puppy that has been raised using early neurological stimulation, early scent introduction, and a combination of puppy curriculums appropriate for our puppies.
- Results of any temperament testing completed on the puppy.
- Puppy that is socialized and raised in a family environment with other pets.
- Puppy that has started on potty training and crate conditioning.

PUPPY FOUNDATIONAL TRAINING
This foundational training program is an extension of what we started in your puppy’s first eight weeks. It is an additional two week program focused on house training, crate training, leash walking, basic obedience, and socialization.
How does this differ from what the puppy learned in the first 8 weeks?
In the first 8 weeks we litter train our puppies which teaches them there is a designated area to go. Puppies begin to learn that sleeping areas and play areas are not potty areas. The additional two weeks provides them with a more structured program where they learn a schedule of potty training, after meals, after playing, upon wakening, etc.). This does not mean your puppy will be completely house trained when they go home. Many puppies take a full 16 weeks to be fully house trained. However, following our guidelines, puppies are usually trained much sooner.
Also in the first 8 weeks we begin crate conditioning with the puppies. They are introduced to the crate and gradually learn to associate the crate with positive experiences through positive reinforcement. During the additional two weeks, we continue to teach the puppy that the crate is a safe space where he/she can go to eat, nap, or calmly relax with a chew toy. We provide the puppy with their own 42” crate (included in the price) that will be sent home with him/her. Our goal is for the puppy to remain accident free while in the crate both during the day and at night for a duration of at least 2 hours.
Unfortunately with a full litter of puppies there is just not enough time to train all of them to walk on a leash or to obey simple commands. This program allows us time to give more personalized attention to your puppy and teach them these skills. Our goals are that the puppy will:
- Walk calmly on a leash and heel on your left side
- Sit calmly when you stop
- Learn commands sit, stay, come, leave it
We will also continue to socialize your puppy with additional sounds, sights, environments, people, pets, and handling exercises. We are aware that the puppy is not fully vaccinated and all safety measures will be followed. Things your puppy may experience:
- Additional noises (instruments, slamming doors, fireworks, etc.)
- People with walker or wheelchairs, elderly people, kids, men with beards, etc.)
- Environments like stores, being alone, stairs, elevators, etc.)
- Handling exercises like nail grinders (vibration), brushing, teeth checks, etc.)
Puppies who complete this program are building a foundation for obedience and good behavior making the transition to your home easier.
Duration: 2 weeks (puppy remains with us until 10 weeks)
Investment: $1,500 (in addition to the price of the puppy)

LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION
ALL PUPPIES ARE SOLD ON LIMITED REGISTRATION (Pet Homes Only)
To promote responsible breeding, all of our puppies are sold on a Limited Registration basis. Limited Registration means that the dog is eligible for registration with the American Kennel Club; however, any puppies produced by the dog could not be registered with the AKC. This does not mean that the dog is of lesser quality. It just means that they are ineligible to enter conformation shows or produce registered offspring. They are eligible to enter other AKC events such as hunt tests, agility, obedience and rally trials. Most puppies purchased from us are purchased as companion dogs by owners who have no interest in breeding; therefore, Limited Registration will have no bearing on these dogs and their owners. However, should an owner decide to become involved with showing and/or breeding in the future, Limited Registration can be reversed when certain criteria are met by the dog and owner.
