Angie has a Masters Degree in Special Education where she has worked with students with various disabilities, but her passion was working with students with emotional and behavioral disorders. She has done extensive research and training on behavioral techniques used with children, which are very similar to those used with animals. Prior to that she worked as a Registered Nurse where she worked as an OB/Gyn nurse and has experience and training in prenatal care, deliveries, and postnatal care. She focuses on supporting and educating our families with their new puppies and supporting them throughout the dog's lives.
It is important for you to know that we are a family breeder. We have made accommodations to our home to be able to make sure our dogs are bred in our house and interact with our family. However, they have their own space to quietly rest with the new mom or as they get older to run, play, and interact with each other. They are also monitored 24/7 through multiple cameras when we are not directly in the room with them.
One of the goals of Irish Creek Great Danes is to make sure you are getting a healthy dog with a solid temperament. After all, you are bringing a new family member into your home. You want them to be the best they can be. All of our Great Dane puppies come with a 2-year genetic health guarantee. Our parents are AKC registered and have undergone DNA health testing to make sure there are no known genetic defects before breeding. Most of the parents are our family members and it is important to us that they are healthy and have solid temperaments also.
Once you have purchased a puppy from us you become part of our extended family. We are here for you whenever you need us. We know how important your new family member is and we want you to know that we are here to help. With our knowledge, experience, and connections to other breeders, trainers, veterinarians, etc. we are sure to be able to get you the answers and assistance you need.
